What's the use

of posting to ppl when they have favorites that they answer, I've been up for 3 hrs now , and am pretty sure my feels are crummy cuz I'm crashing, but still if ya post it's nice to be replied back to, guess I'm still second class to some

I know what you mean hon, that kinda crap can really suck.......I don't think many people here are like that .... but sometimes just a few can be enough to hurt a LOT when we are feeling vulnerable

Yep, that's true enough.

Don't take it personally. People may be busy getting ready for their days & not even be on-line. Some of my posts disappear without any replies. I just have to remind myself that these people have busy lives & issues they are dealing with & cannot always "be there" for little old (52) me!--Suzy

Angie! I completely agree with you! I don't know your situation (I don't go through all the posts here with a fine toothed comb) but I feel DISRESPECTED when some answer others but not me..... how much does it take to post a simple hug or good wish??? To me, someone does not need to be a "friend" for me to be able to wish them well, and to EXPRESS that, as a fellow human being I just do not understand some people

And yes, eventually I do stop posting to the person who has been ignoring me..... and so the cycle of negativity and hurt continues

I think this thread shows very well how people are triggered by different things, and that ALL triggers should be respected

Yep Fuzzy that's it and it can hurt a lot. I know that we should all try not to take it personally, but that's hard to do. It hurts a lot. Just wanted you all to know I feel the same way at times.

Exactly, that's the word... disrespectful. As if you and/or your opinion don't count. Not to mention that it hurts & as a result makes people refrain from posting etc.

That happens to me, but then I realize many people may not know what to say?
So often, people may be so in need of support themselves, that they feel they may not or are unable to find any supportive words to offer in a reply.
I'm not saying your point is wrong, it may exist, and yeah I feel so often that my taking the time to support/give info may be wasted, cause there are plenty of times I do not get any response back,but others replying saying almost the same stuff,will have a reply made to them in return.
It's very easy to say, "what's the use", I totally agree.
Don't let this sway you away from those who really care for you and appreciate the time you give of yourself.

i agree nothemama8, ive posted a post to which i have no responses, and it does hurt. i just try not to let it offend me, but that in itself is easier said than done.

i, personally, try to get through every post on this site, and some posts i read i feel i dont need to respond, because what i want to say has already been said, so i feel i would be wasting eevryones time by responding. but i never ignore anyone. i have no grudges here and i like to think its the same with everyone. that would be a naive thing to think im sure but thats what i think.

your input to PC is remarkable, and i gain alot of knowledge by reading your posts, so i hope you continue it.

it is hard when you feel invisible to people here, i did go through that stage, but i hit a point when i thought "why bother, i have people here that will always reply who i know i can trust". in my eyes, every reply to a post of mine is valued, i never expect many replies, so each one is important to me. do you see what i mean by this. i hope so, its hard to explain.

well i hope you feel better soon and i hope you realise that you are very respected and valued here, by me for one.

While I agree with much that has been said, this thread really makes me feel bad. I haven't been visiting this particular forum for sometime because of personal reasons but I would hate for anyone to feel I am playing "favourites".

I often don't reply to any threads here because I feel guilty if I don't reply to ALL the threads.

That is just the other side of the coin for me.

I think most or all people here can see that you don't play favourites (((((((((((( Sabrina )))))))))))))

But it's ok to be closer to some people, I haven't found any rule book....yet... that says that is a crime

I wish I caught this thread sooner!!! I hope I don't make you feel that way... I feel the same sometimes, and the reason I don't reply to some is because I think they don't like me... I'm paranoid about that.
