Do you even know what you are depressed about? I don't. I feel like it wouldn't be so bad if I had a reason to be depressed. I know it is made worse because I don't feel like I have anyone who cares. I've been on my own so long and never had anyone to take care of me. It feels like it would feel so good to just fall apart and let someone take care of me. I always have to be the strong, self sufficient , independent one. Anyway, that was rambling.

I agree, it would be better if we knew why we were depressed because maybe we could do something about it. However, I have to trust a stranger (pdoc) make the decisions, like today, even when I know it's not going to help. Now i'm rambling, too.
Sorry you don't have anyone to take care of you. Hope you feel better soon.

After 8 years I finally have an idea of what it is all about, and it comes down to controlling people around me, ie my parents, and sister, and church. And all of the shaming messages that I learned growing up.
