I'm feeling okay-ish today....because it is Friday. I've waited the whole week to get to this day. Every day has been a struggle to get out of bed and get going and keep going. But with my work situation I don't really have a choice...
But I know how it goes: Fridays are awesome, Saturdays are productive and great...but Sundays!?!? I hate Sundays. The whole day I keep thinking about Monday that is around the corner. Another whole week I have to fight through. Days and days of walking around like a zombie pretending everything is fine. Sundays I find myself looking at the time over and over again, almost as if I'm counting down the hours to when I have to go back to work. I walk around with this empty feeling in my stomach the whole time, feeling anxious and depressed. I am trying to get another job, but it's just not happening fast enough. I wonder if anyone else feels this way? How do you feel on Sundays? What do you do to make it better? ![]() |

It's a bad feeling to know the holiday is soon over but you should make the most of your Sundays, we all hate Mondays
![]() I think you hate your job, not necessarily the days but there should be people to cheer you up ![]() |

the only cure i know for dreading tomorrow is living in today. it might be helpful for you to begin a meditation or a practice of deliberately focusing on NOW. just this minute. pay attention to what you are feeling NOW. notice what your body feels like NOW. focus on what you are doing NOW.
this method of remaining present is very effective at interrupting and eventually subsiding, dreadful thoughts of tomorrow and yesterday (which are not even real, not reachable except through the NOW). it may take some time to get good at it, but you can only improve by practice, practice, practice. put up little notes for yourself... ~Be Here NOW~ and when you see them, deliberately notice your breathing, your heart rate, your body tension, and relax. if you need some relaxation exercises, i believe there are some in the Social Group, Mindfulness Meditation. best wishes~ Gus

Now that you mention it I do more depressed on Sunday, all because I have go to work the next day.
Have you tried planning a day out? They say it helps with depression to just go outside and walk around is beneficial. Hope get better soon. ![]()
