I'm finding it hard to wake up and get out of bed lately. My daughter is 3 and she sleeps in my bed. I've become such a heavy sleeper.Last week we went to bed at the same time and I fell asleep before she did. My daughter snuck out of the room and was playing with the water in the bathroom sink. The bathroom is right beside our room so I should have heard her. Our bedroom door was even open. I only woke up when my roommate caught my daughter with water and soap all over the floor and counter.
Then in the mornings when she wakes up, I don't wake up right away. I'll wake up and she will be playing in the room or in the living room and ill call her back in the bedroom. Ill lay in the bed for a few more minutes but end up falling asleep again and when I wake up she's gone and when I look at the time it's been a half hour where she's been playing by herself! I feel like a horrible mom but I feel like I just can't get out of bed! This happens weather I go to bed early or late, it doesn't matter. I think I'm gonna get a lock for the bedroom door to lock it from the inside so she can't get out while I'm sleeping, but I don't like that I've become such a heavy sleeper. Anyone else relate to this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

You might want to look into a sleep study to ensure everything is ok.

Lately I have not wanted to get out of bed. It seems like the best sleep is between 6:00 and 6:30 am. And I need to be up at 6:20.
I don't know what it is but I have to force myself to go to work as well. |
