I am in this program "hospital without walls" where people come to your house without notice, usually. They can stay for as long as 3 hrs.
Today I am just left exhausted, got a headache, and fed up. My medication does'nt even let me get drunk, just sick. Before all this I could skip all the appointments I want, Get as drunk and sick as I want, just have my privacy. I really am terribly anxious with this. I really am trying to get well, nobody wants to be this sick. I dont know how much more I can take, but it's not much. Thanks for letting me rant. Anyone been through anything like this? This is crap.

Sorry no, I haven't. Any chance they can call and give you a heads up that they are cominf by first? You would think that any helpful program would at least have the decency to do that. But honestly right now, that would be welcome to me, to have company to talk to. Are they really invasive with your privacy though? Do you have to worry about how your place is kept up? hugs

Wow. I've not heard of such a program. I would imagine such an approach might be particularly hard on someone with PTSD. What do they hope to accomplish?

Yes, my apt. is tidy. The only thing I can think of is they might think I could be suicidal, which I am not. Yes, Rohag, it is nervewracking to someone with PTSD. I can not answer the door or phone but then they call the emerg. contacts, re my daughter. I honestly don't know what their "purpose statement" or whatever it is called is. Maybe I should find out! I will let you know. PS they have a "crisis line" whatever that tells you.
