Does anyone else have trouble sleeping? Insomnia..i just cant even start to get to sleep til 3 or 4 am and im usually up by 10. I started taking Unisom but it seemed to wipe me out so bad i didnt feel like getting up. I tried watching tv, reading a book, not sure what else to do to even try to get some sleep soothing music...anything would like to just be able to go to sleep at a decent hour and wake up feeling refreshed.

I'm diagnosed with "primary insomnia," but it's controlled by maintaining a relatively strict bedtime ritual and taking some of my meds that cause drowsiness as a secondary effect before retiring.
In my experience, sleep is critical in managing depression. Also, it's possible to "sleep" all night and not awake refreshed. Part of the problem is getting good quality, refreshing sleep. You might discuss this with a doctor, but in the vast majority of cases that's going to lead to a sleep study that will hunt for sleep apnea. Does you situation permit that?

Understood. Depending on the nature of your insomnia, you may be able to get decent results on your own by practicing "sleep hygiene" techniques.
From Psych Central Pro: Michael Breus, Ph.D. on Practical Sleep Hygiene Tips You can find many "sleep hygiene" resources in general Web searches.
