I want to out live all the XXXholes that I am surrounded by. Some have gratefully passed on, but are still causing loved ones much pain.
I will try my best to outlive as many as I can. I will try to help ease some of the pain they have caused, in life and after their deaths. Strength of Purpose. What are some of your reasons for living? |

![]() Parts of our world are very sucky ![]() I do love the beauty in Nature, even after I have been harmed by it. I am inspired by people like snowboarder Amy Purdy. She is only 19 and lost her legs to bacterial meningitis. |

I live for my daughter. She is everything to me. As long as I have her and am not a burdon to her I will try to stay alive.

My reasons for living:
- My Wife - So many books I'd love to read, records I'd love to listen to, etc... - Family (at least, the ones I know really care about me) - George Herbert's advice: "Living well is the best revenge" - I still have something to contribute towards making the world better, I just haven't figured out what yet. PS: Your post also reminded me of an old Modern Lovers song called Dignified and Old -- "But I can see through this bitterness and sadness, And so I won't die, Someday I think I'll be dignified and old" |

I used to know the answer to your question. Now, I do not really know. Thank you for posting the question

These may not be correct answers, but I live so my therapist will be proud of me.
I have hope that someday I may have more hope. ![]() |

Yep, it is so hard to keep my heart going. The person I loved the most does not like the new (more like the original) me. Luckily, the A-holes closest to me physically, are not in very good health.
My body, joints, and organs hurt, plus I have multiple scratches (from walking in the woods and my (Hubbs) dog, shingles (genital herpes?), and need glasses. But I am determined to keep my physical form here as long as I can bear it. I guess I need to be a Bear. My star sign is Capricorn the Goat, which seems to explain a lot. But I don't put much faith in that astrology stuff. |
