I'm in a lot of pain from my assorted physical issues - need more pain meds, but can't get out to get them.

I'm also really hungry since I can't move to get food.

Contacted some friends & family and nobody will help me find something to eat.

They all have something better to do, and I'm just not important and I'm too needy.

Tried my social worker but she's way too over scheduled and doesn't have any free time to even talk to me, let alone help me.

I know I'm not all that important, but I wish that somebody would care.

And, I called the local emergency hot line because I'm really feeling hopeless. And, they put me on hold - and then hung up on me. Not what I was wanting.

I'm SO sorry to hear about your situation, badmouse. I sincerely wish there was something more I could do for you than just message you. Please don't wrap your nerves around selfish persons and bad situations, you have so much more worth than you've been given credit for today. As for the hotline, try again- it must have been an accident. Much love.

Call a church. It does not matter if you may be atheist or not. I do not know what your stand is or not on that. So I just said that.
Tell them your situation and you cannot get out and you need to eat. Tell them what you just said here. don;t think about it to much of they might say no or what ever...
Just do it. If one place says no, or does not answer. Go to the next number. Even if they cannot, just ask for ideas or if they can give you any suggestions what to do.

You can try a Salvation Army if they have those around. If they cannot help you, ask them if they have any idea, numbers or other.

Eventually I am sure someone will help you or respond.

ResaLock has some good ideas. You might also contact your county/city health department. They may have some information for you as well.

no one will help me
