I'm always feeling not good enough.

Because of my mental disorder, I have lost my job. It has made me financially unstable. I've moved in parents. Don't have a gf. Everyone else around me, my age, successful, happy, flaunting everything on fb and instagram.

Meanwhile, I am trying to calm myself everyday. Struggling everyday to not kill myself. While also learning that I have bunch of other disorders.

Beause of all this, I don't feel I can ever date anyone. The girls online have such demands that I just don't feel I might be worthy.

Life sucks. life is an empty present.

I don't think anyone is unworthy of being in a relationship. I'm sure you have a plethora of amazing qualities. What demands have you heard that girls have?

Let me know if you want to talk.

Hello stoetzels, welcome to Psych Central!

That feeling of not being good enough comes from way back. The truth is, on FB etc people can put themselves across to be whatever! Like taking a photo only when happy. You sound like a sensitive person and the right person will come along for you when the time is right.

stoetzels, I get where you are coming from, but try to remember girls are individuals just like guys are and there are lots of nice ones out there so don't get discouraged

I am a very sensitive person. I can't help it.

Also the girls/women online put things like: 'You need to have your life together.' or 'Must be Guy's guy' or 'I've been to a gazillion countries...etc.'

Maybe it's my depression acting up, maybe these things are not at all degrading me, but with my current state of being, I don't take action and it has held me back.

Thanks for the support though.

I'll keep trying.

A lot of women find sensitivity attractive. It feels good to that the guy will be able to empathize with you. Can you try and ask a female friend about this?
Thanks for this!
