I got up and made it to work today even though I really didn't feel like it.

Being on this board seems to help me take my mind of the depression.

Although i've become a recluse as of late i'm actually quite content being with myself. Feels good not to worry. Spending the day doing my own thing.

I finished a book I did NOT like.

Now I can find one I do like.

Found some encouraging quotes today:

Isak Dinesen (AKA Karen Blixen) wrote "All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story or tell a story about them."

Shakespeare felt the same: "Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak knits up the overwrought heart and bids it break."

I haven't gone straight back to my bed yet, despite some frustration and anxiety. That's huge, for me!
