Don't understand why i can't be happy. nothing is really wrong in my life right now - dating someone, work is fine, but just can't enjoy anything. sometimes i just wonder what's the point to living when we'll all die anyway...

Many times depression can hit you when there are no circumstances that would warrant it. Something in the brain just misfires. I had some pretty bad bouts with depression & my mother-in-law would say, "You have no reason to be depressed."--so I should just snap out of it & stop malingering. That was very hard. People just don't understand depression when there is not a "reason" for it.--Suzy
