Hi everyone,

I recently went through a hospitalization program for my depression and need a support community to help me through. I am attempting to use my mindfulness skills to keep me grounded and present.

Any help and advice is much appreciated.

Hi there friend! I just posted a little thing on practical things i'm doing that really help me out with depression.

I'll support you! Feel free to message me (but know it might take a while for me to respond sometimes). I hope you find the peace that I have found. And that you find people near you to support you.

Welcome! I just got out of inpatient for depression too. I know it's a rough road, but this is a great place to come for support and to realize you're not alone.

Welcome home. I've been where you are. As much as I hated being hospitalized, when I got home I felt lost. I needed the structure I had while inpatient.

Is there a partial hospitalization program you can get into? Is there a support group near by?

There is some awesome support here. I remember how lost I felt after I got released from the hospital, and how lonely I felt. I suggest a group, or a therapist you can go and talk to. It helps to see people face to face which you don't get that here but I highly suggest you read as many forms and posts as possible. Each one has something special to offer in advice and incouragement. Keep posting!

I have already done the PHP program and unfortunately there are no support groups close by. I have on my list to go by the churches in my town and see if there is anything there.

Hello Welcome!

This is a good place (with good people) to vent, rant, comment, complain and celebrate about anything that is on your mind... and know that you aren't alone. There are more of us than you would think that can relate. I'm still realitvely new to the site, but I can't even begin to tell you the comfort and support I have found here. It's meant the world to me. I hope you can find the same here.
