Birthdays have always been troubling for me, too. I like for my family to say happy birthday, and NO more than that. I have despised birthday parties since about 10 years old when I had a horrible experience being forced to invite my entire class to a party when none of them were my friends. It has taken several years to get my boss to stop putting the date on the office calendar. Somehow she, and others, think I have some social obligation to provide the excuse for their gorging on a pile of really crappy cake. It is MY birthday and if I want to keep it to myself that is my privilege to decide, not theirs.

Christmas is another similar event I can be much happier chucking into the nearest landfill.

Happy Belated Birthday. I'm sorry you are in a funk and that no one thought to wish you a happy birthday. I can relate because my birthday is coming up this weekend and I am dreading it. No one usually calls me either. My mom used to but she is not here anymore, she passed away. Birthdays are just another day to me also. But I do understand your pain and disappointment about not having anyone around that acknowledges it. I'm sorry your hurting and I hope you get out of your funk soon.

Happy belated Birthday!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry you're feeling alone and sad. I also sometimes feel like somebody forgot to call my name to join in the parade and I'm the only one standing out on the sidelines watching everyone else march down the street.
I'm sending you "you're not alone" vibes I don't know why I feel this way and I'm sending out little Sally here to cheer you up. I don't know why I feel this way She'll do a little "yehaw" cowgirl dance for you. Enjoy!
I hope you get out of this funk soon, Ster.

Hello HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I HOPE THINGS GET BETTER FOR YOU SOON. Have you called your Dr to let them know that you are not doing well at this time. I had to have a medicaiton adjustment a while back. It could be that you just need a medication adjustment to help you feel better at this time. i am going to leave a hotline number for you to call in case you need to call and talk to someone in person 1-800-273-TALK. I hope the best for youand youeel better soon. Take care Sincerely soidhonia

Hey, it's a little late but happy birthday from me too. I hope you will feel better soon. I'm also having this feeling of not belonging anywhere most of the time.

Take care and Merry Christmas
