Recently I have been having thoughts that I would be happier if I wasn't here. (Im in no threat to myself so don't worry) I had told my therapist this and she was saying how I'm plummeting back into my deep depression and that my medicine isn't working and all that kind of stuff. Her saying that makes me feel like I'm hopeless and won't ever get better. I'm just really confused about how I'm feeling and I don't like it :-(

Hi, Christina79, and welcome to Psych Central! Yes, I agree that you seem to be getting depressed again. However, please don't give up. Sometimes we do need med changes. I know I have. Thank goodness, there are a bunch of them. You will get better again. Don't let what the therapist said worry you. Okay?

This happens to me all the time. I start to feel good then BAM there I go. I just started on a different medication and I am on the up swing. Hang in there, things will get better.
