Perhaps try to break it down into manageable chunks. "I've managed 10 mins, just another 10 mins to go" kind of thing.

Sometimes that helps me.

Talk to your employer and see if you can go home early, it's not worth it.

I'm going to the emerg room after work. It's not normal to feel like this. I'm having hot flashes, then sometimes I'm freezing for a few mins then back to sweating. I'm nauseous. Dizzy, light headed, and weak. My head feels like its just full, i cant concetrate and im seeing black spots. i feel luke im gonna pass out. The only reason I've made it this far is that I'm telling myself just to make it until the next break. 2 hours to go

Do you suffer from panic attacks. As TJ said its a help when you break the time down and then it doesn't seem so long. But sometimes you just need to get out of there. I hope your anxiety settles down soon. Best wishes.

I do suffer from anxiety but since I started this new job almost 3 months ago, I haven't been having any issues.

That is actually good news I think. At least it explains what has been going on. You can just take synthroid and once they get the dose right you should feel much better. My Mom has been taking sythroid for many years. Sometimes they adjust her dose a little bit. My 21 year old niece just found out she has hypothyroidism. It was a big relief for her because they had spent years trying to figure out what was wrong. I don't know why in the hell they didn't test her thyroid first thing. She has had some trouble getting the dose right but is doing 100% better. Hypothyroidism can cause depression.

That is good news. It's very manageable. Much more manageable that anything else I know of.

Well after doing some reading I was angry that I wasn't tested as soon as I was diagnosed with depression, as thyroid issues can cause depression. Maybe this could have been fixed years ago.

I would be angry too. That is the first thing they should rule out.

Well my family dr is retesting me to make sure it is thyroid but in the mean time I have been diagnosed with moderate-severe sleep apnea. I stop breathing 18 times an hour and have sleep disturbances about 40 times an hour. Explains why I'm so tired but I hate the god damn machine.
