again with the no sleep.
at least it is not regular now. seems to be something like once a week? once every two weeks? not on a regular schedule. i think today because i took my second dose of wellbutrin too late. they switched me from one dose in the morning to two smaller doses during the day with a larger daily dose. afternoon meds are hard for me, can't ever get them on a schedule like i can with "wake up" and "bedtime" drugs. this has always been a problem for me and so i've always ended up working all my meds into two doses (two groups), but i can't do that with the wellbutrin because it keeps me up. i may have to ask the doc to switch me back or increase to a higher level that is available as xl (i was on xl but the new scrip is for sr so has to be twice a day) anyway i am tired and one arm is numb from arthritis and also twitchy like when your legs get restless except in my arm. that's what is keeping me up. annoying. -- The world is what we make of it -- -- Dave -- http://www.idexter.com

Hey Dexter,
I might be in the same boat as you. I just started taking Welbutrin and will be going to the twice a day dose in a day or two. I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is, I hope this doesnt really mess me up. I just started therapy, and am in the process of trying new drugs that work for me. I hope you can get some sleep soon. Mike |

hi link and welcome to the board here.
don't worry about the med change. as you probably know everyone reacts differently to meds, some people meds make them sleepy and the same med can keep some people awake (otc sleeping pills keep me awake!) and i think my problem is taking the second dose too late in the day. the doc said to take them at least 8 hours apart and i do think that if i took my second dose 8 hours after my first i would be ok (don't suggest the alarm clock anyone, tried that doesn't. i am a mess in this regard ![]() so don't let my problem worry you. when you actually go to twice a day see how it goes and take it from there. gook luck, and i'm glad you found this place, it is a good place for support -- The world is what we make of it -- -- Dave -- http://www.idexter.com

Have you thought of setting an alarm clock? ![]() ![]() "Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt" --Shakespeare
