Summer break started since yesterday and my days have been pretty lazy and boring. But, I’m okay with it. I like being in my home with my laptop and my bed. My mom told me to go out and hang out with people. But, the only friend that I had was my ex who happened to stay as friend after the breakup. I never told her that I had a depression. I never told anybody expect my ex. I didn't want her to be worried. I actually wanted to fight the depression by myself. I will be off to college with a new life. Maybe I might get some new friend. Maybe I will be able to fight the depression.

Yes, at college you will have plenty of opportunity to find new friends. But if you find the depression doesn't lift on it's own, go see a school counselor. Sometimes we can fight on our own and sometimes we need extra help, so don't be afraid to ask for it.
