I have mommy issues ....
Maybe we should introduce them to each other to get them off our backs? ![]() ![]()

Well if you call a piece of **** father who doesn't even want to help his only son get an education as part of "daddy issues", I guess I have them. Thank goodness my grandfather was there to teach me how to be a real man. Wishing you the best.

I have both mom and pop issues. When they were alive, I would've said all my issues with my dad. I resolved most of those with my dad while he was still alive, although most of it was while he had Alzheimer's. Sadly, I'm not sure we managed to solve his issues with me.
It was different with my mother. I thought that she and I worked out our issues as we went while she was alive; after her death, and while caring for my dad, I realized I had a lot of unresolved issues with my mom that I had never before been aware of. Or maybe it was just that I was afraid to confront them with her directly while she was alive. Now much of my T time (tea time, I wish ![]() You're in my thoughts, dear niece Fuzzybear, & in my heart. PM me anytime if talking would help. I almost always help me. I love you sooo much. ![]()

Been there, years ago, but my dad died in 2010. Before he died I had come to terms with our relationship and it was pretty good so I am grateful for that. However, I was never as close to him as I was to my mother and I am OK with that, too.

Hi Fuzzy, I had issues with my dad when he was real sick and dying of cancer. He could be so verbally mean to me. I really think he was angry at his illness and took it out on me. On top of that, at this same time my only sibling, my brother started being mean to me. This all went on 4 yrs ago. Problems with family can be real hard. I'm thinking of you. Hang in there.
