I'm currently on my way home after being with my friend for the weekend. And the closer I get to home the worse I'm feeling. Just back to reality I guess and I don't like reality! I go back to work tomorrow and I haven't been since Tuesday last week. And then in the middle of each working day I'll be going to group therapy too. It all feels like too much and I'm just dreading it.

Just being away from home seemed to distract me and I felt ok for a while, my depression didn't really follow me. But it seems to have caught up with me again now.

Is it because you are going back to the humdrum of life or is it because your home is abusive?

Oh no, nothing abusive at home or anything like that. Just the normal humdrum of life I guess.

I have had a long weekend off work and I dread going back to work tomorrow. Having twinges of anxiety about it. I know what you mean about going back to an environment where life is hard. I agree with Toe-Jam. Take it hour by hour. Message me if you need to.

secretwhisper, I know what you mean. My weekend was filled with being with other people (my husband, and my brother and his family, and today my aunt) and now I'm back home alone again. My husband is gone fishing until I don't know what time. As I was driving back home, I was dreading arriving here. It's so lonely and boring. I hate it. Hope your feeling of dread goes away. The dread is still there and getting much worse now. Really don't want to go back to work tomorrow, or to group therapy. Can't I just hide in my bed away from the world?
