And I will split it because for me it's only money. When I play guitar whether it's in a massive gig or my room or on the street busking I feel like a millionaire because playing the guitar is where I can express myself.

Nummy my friend was skint and eventually got a loan for a car. He ended up with speeding fines and parking tickets lost his licence his girlfriend had a crash and said he wished he had just bought a new bicycle.

As Useless Me says the grass is always greener. I cycled to work for years and when I got a car it broke all the time cost me money and I was so unfit due to not cycling.

Well if I win the lottery on Sat I will split a million with the replies before this.

I hope you all get windfalls of cash this week!

It would be best if there was no rich or poor....though I don't see anyone complaining about windfalls of cash, but yeah just don't agree much with the class system.

Hi Hellion sorry to hear your story.

For my song I need one more thing now but I don't want to know if it happens I will expect it will with fingers crossed.

I am sure on here there are many millionaires and this was my main reason of this post because now the millionaires have the chance to help the above people. You can see how many people here are struggling financially please help those who can't work can't afford luxuries even pay for a few therapies a spa day anything as it does make a difference.

Do something good if you have a lot of cash here's your chance.

A small amount can go a long way.

God, now I feel guilty for having money thanks to government financial support. I'm far from rich, but I save like crazy. (partly because I'm saving for very important future stuff, and partly because I feel guilty spending it, and partly because I feel like it could be taken away from me at any moment, so I need to save, just in-case. )

Anywho, yes, it would be amazing. I could LIVE. I wouldn't fritter away my life, I'd learn all I could. I'd pay for top therapists, get my brain "fixed" as much as I can, learn to love life more. I could obviously help my dad; give him something back for all he has given me. (I do try to pay him back with nice stuff, lil gifts and helping with money-related worries, but it never feels enough) and I wouldn't need to be taking money from the government, thus feeling like crap, useless, scared it'll vanish at any moment, etc.

I would feel free. I wouldn't feel like I can't work, as it wouldn't matter because I wouldn't NEED to; I'd rather not needing than not being able but having that self-doubt; the "what if I could? What if I'm fake? What if I'm a liar? What if I'm just lazy like that stupid woman said?" etc. ¬_¬

Yes, it would help.

Hope you're a blues guitarist like me!

Money makes me happy up to a point.
If I have enough money to cover all my basic expenses, save for the future and a rainy day, and have some fun, I'm good. Beyond that I'm not sure what I'd even do with it all. However in this day and age it seems to be a challenge to get to that point - not rich by any means, just truly comfortable and thriving.
Money for me is just a means to an end. It buys nice experiences and a measure of security for myself and others.

Hi Zwangsstorung can't get those bits above your o in name sorry.

Yes I like Blues guitar :-) Stevie Ray Vaughan Jimmy Hendrix Joe Bonamasa Yngwie Malmsteen Nuno Bettencourt Angus Young Mark Knopfler Gary Moore :-)

Currently plugging up TC helicon Voiceplay live GTX gadget for recording some new tunes tomorrow after this thread inspiring me. All acoustic tunes with upbeat feel.

I hope as a Blues guitarist you never sold your soul at the crossroads! I quit drinking at 27 so I am still here :-)

Robert Johnson Amy Winehouse Kurt Cobain Jim Morrison are all in the 27 club.

Crossroads the movie with Steve Vai watch it. Sold their soul to become good songwriters and taken at 27 but some slipped through.

In the sense that I use money to provide water, food, and shelter to myself, yes it makes me happy. It also buys some of the things I use to have a good time. But money per se doesn't make me happy. And a lot of the things I love don't cost a lot of money.
