Yep that's me. I have lost another friend, or so it seems. I spoke up and tried to be assertive, didn't work. ended a 17 yr friendship that has had it's up and downs from beginning.
I hate me so much don't want to wake up feelings suck want them all go back safe inside never shoulda said anything just keep mouth shut and be good. so disappointed in me need to be punished sorry thanks for listening hugs all jen

It strikes me odd that one attempt to be assertive could undermine a 17-year friendship, if the friendship were true.

You're a lovely gentle and kind person, one of the loveliest people here. Like Rohag, I wonder if this friendship was true  . I too would be hurting deeply about something like this, it's not a crime to be sensitive, nor to be assertive when necessary.
