I've been diagnosed with mdd for years now. I'm going through a rough time and I guess I could use some support.

Welcome to pc. Mdd can make you feel quite bad. I have been suffering depression for about a year now and its hard. You are not alone. There are lots of kind and caring people here on this forum who will give you kindness and support and will not judge. We understand how you feel because either we have been there ourselves or we are currently dealing with the same difficulties. Love and kindness to you.
Thanks for this!

Hi there. I can completely relate to what you're going through. Stay positive and try not to overwhelmed by everything you might be feeling or what's going on around you.

Kind wishes.

Pleased to meet you, don'tknowwhattosay. Does your treatment team know you are having a difficult time? Adjustments in your treatment may be beneficial.

I wish you well.
Thanks for this!

Thank yall for the support. ☺. My psychiatrist is aware of my problems. I've had several medication changes, mostly anti -depressants. I've lacked the energy and motivation to do some of the most basic things. This is sort of my first time reaching out to a support group for help and "treatment".

Doc John, the founder of this site, has posted that there are studies that say participation in an online support forum really does help. Participating is the key.

If you are new i would encourage to read a lot of threads for awhile and then start your own threads and respond to others. Share your whole story and get feed back.
