Spent the night crying my eyes out, my ribcage felt like it was going to break, and I felt really crappy when I woke up.. Safe to say my worst night... Am I the only one who goes through this?
Ouch.

I've done that before and to a slightly lesser extent very recently. You're definitely not the only one but I'm sorry none the less, I hope things get better for you and if you need to, message me.

I don't get this symptom but uncontrollable crying is a common symptom of depression. I am not so sure it reliefs emotions in the same way a normal good cry would. I am not sure though.

I don't think it relieves feelings either, I just do it until I fall asleep. It doesn't seem to make me hurt worse though.
Edit: Then again I'm not sure I would notice if it did.

I cry when depression makes me angry. Sometimes the anger can get harmful so I prefer the crying even though it doesn't bring the same relief as the self harm would. I've just come out of a very weepy phase lasting a couple of months. I am exhausted by it.

That's understandable... And I have personal experience with self harm.. I'm glad I got out of that before I really got hurt >.<
Thanks for this!

It was hard. The crying seems to have settled down now for about two or three weeks. I hope you have had chance to rest a bit in the last 24 hours. I'm glad you're able to keep safe from self harm, please be proud of that it is a big and important achievement.

Thank you, and I think I'm calming down a bit, just still feeling a bit broken, especially after watching a series where my favorite character died... It sounds stupid I know.. But it really made me feel like crying again ._.
