As for Abandonment, you aren't wrong that this happens with children/parents relationships, but it can come from any number of sources with no one being a majority. There is a great pull and need in the Abandoned to hold onto anyone and everyone. Not sure that is you, just discussing this 'off to the side' kind of subject I started within in trying to understand and get educated on what's happening with you.

But know you're not alone, I've been hurt and 'stabbed in the back' too, we've just both reacted differently to it because we are 2 uniquely different people and wenall know no two people will walk away feeling the same from any given situation. You can't trust and I trust too much.
I actively push people away too in my own way. AKA isolating because I can't stand human interaction after a certain point. I was abandoned by society. It all leads back to my childhood I guess. So yes I may very well have abandonment issues. I don't know. I was isolated growing up and then I couldn't deal with any human interaction so I continued to seek out isolation.

Yet some will say they hate me in there. Or they may hide it but use a silent means of humiliating or attacking me. They hide behind a fake mask of being a nice person. I could have a lot of shallow online friendships perhaps but I can only deal with so many people. I think I realize at this point that I may not be cut out for human interaction period. Yet I still want to interact but I can't. So it's a chaotic mess of back and forth until eventually no one wants to interact with me. I'm never the first person someone wants to talk to. Only if there is no one else to talk to. As soon as they find someone better they move along.

I don't leave the house. Also because I am a giant mess. I can barely keep the few I guess acquaintances I have online on this forum. Though we have only talked once or twice and that was it. They always disappear because they actually have lives unlike me. That or they stab me in the back or I just find them unbearable to talk to. A giant list

Nobody can change your way of thinking, but you. If you want to get better, you have to work at it. I know people suck, the world sucks, but we're all stuck dealing with the same crap.
Making excuses, as to why you can't do things is not helping you. You need to at least try to do something, to feel better. It can be done, because I've been where you are now.
I fought like hell, not to fall into an abyss and so far I'm winning. Until you decide to do something about your depression, you will feel like s#&t. Unfortunately no one can do this for you, you have to want to get better and do something about it.

What exactly have you done so far? What actions did you take.

I'm not much for the condescension you're displaying. You say you can relate in previous posts yet you won't explain how.

To sum up what you're saying. "I relate but I chose to not feel like **** instead! Until you become more like me you too will continue to feel like ****! So you should quit whining and get over yourself because tough ****! You suck and I'm awesome! Rawwww I'm awesome! With pure power of will I can get over all of my problems! You chose to feel like **** and be depressed."

If depression was my only illness than that might be possible. It's not though.

You'll probably just think I am making excuses again.

Scratch the question I asked from earlier. I don't really care to know because I can realize your the type that probably won't answer the question either way and just feed me more of the previous patronizing rhetoric without any helpful advice or substance except to gloat about how awesome you are and how ****** I am because I chose to be a person with depression. People are different. Some are not as strong as you. I am not strong enough to strap my boots on and be completely normal overnight without any assistance.

No reason to but people can feel general uh disliking for someone and they display that in various ways that don't require any thinking at all. I don't really feel like it's a distortion. It feels quite real and has been proven many times over. People who are nice don't actually like me.

People don't like NEETs. Seen as the scum of society. They don't like my thoughts. They don't like my mannerisms. Everything about me seems to disgust them. They don't like my avoidance. People like people like me because they like to feel like someone is worse than them. Though they want to keep their distance because I overall make things awkward/ uncomfortable. They deceive me when they get sick of me. The reason they want to do that is because they want me gone.

I understand that. During my 'clear' times, I try to run interference on myself - really try to hammer home the fact that I'm just being over sensitive about people hating me. I can't say it always works. Up to yesterday I caught two co workers talking about me. A friend told me "is it your problem if people hate you or not? Why take it upon yourself to take yourself out of their life? If they hate you, they'll eject you from their life". I find that thought helps me a little but when I'm especially down.

Yes I tend to have these "clear" times as well. Some moments I feel like everything is okay with the world and sometimes I feel like the world is against me. Moments of clarity. Feeling like everyone hates me is not why I pull myself away necessarily- more like my mind creating a reason along with some other variables for- well, let's just say I don't really know how to verbalize my thoughts on it.
