I'm only depressed interacting with other people. Reading their views online. Always reminding me how much I suck at life.I don't just want to crawl into bed. I want to crawl under my bed and never come back out. I can't even make the depression support chat lately. I can't make planned times. I wasn't actually feeling bad today. Just emptyheaded with a slight depressive undertone that wasn't invasive.
I read something that reminded me about myself. Then I felt my stomach drop and everything went to ****. |

sounds like depression has really got a hold of your life. are you on meds for it? if not, maybe it is something to think about. if so, perhaps a med change is in order because what youre doing isn't working. they really made a difference for me. then I was finally able to use all those other tools people kept throwing at me like looking for the positive things in life, etc. take care.

Sometimes I just need to take a break from the depression and other more serious forums and just do games for my own mental wellness. It's the same with News, I just need to avoid it so it doesn't bring me down.
Perhaps a break from the serious threads might work for you right now?

It may not be you that's the problem. Are you buying into the unrealistic or misguided goals and standards of others?
I can sort of relate. How to put this tactfully... I tend to want to isolate due to a basic difference in worldview, interests, and how people should interact. There is much stupidity and assholery in the world out there. It get tedious going along and disregarding all the crap just for the sake of being polite. |
