I am in a long distance relationship. My boyfriend and I have been together for over two years and he is currently living in Ireland for school. I didn't realize how detrimental to my mental health it would be for him to be gone. I knew it would be hard, but I didn't know how lonely I would feel, or how emotionally unstable I would become. I just don't know what to do anymore. I am truly in love with him, and he is in love with me. And I know that he will be back in November, but it doesn't make it better that he is gone. There is no one here to tell me that it is going to be ok or to hold me when I cry. He was my main support system. I have no idea what to do now that he is gone

do you have another friend who can just sit with you, or go to the movies, or give you some hugs?

These are all good ideas, also I would add that support groups are helpful to me as well as spiritual services. anyway November isn't too far away.

Yes, look for activities to do. And November will come fast. But be aware, no matter how great your SO is, you have to depend on yourself. You gotta get a little tough. I have the best husband in the world, but I've had to go alone through the worst.
