i honestly don't know whats wrong with me, i've been diagnosed with depression but i just feel like even though thats given me a definitive reason for my feelings i still feel like i'm not right, even with medication. I can be super fine one second and completely zombie-like and sad and numb the next and i just can't put into words any of it all i can say is i don't know. I don't even know myself and i just feel like giving up completely with trying to be happy when deep down it's not working

You didn't say how long you have been on meds, but it takes time to see a difference. Stick with it and do let your doc know if you have any concerns. You will see positive results soon.

I just want to show support because I feel a lot the same way. And I know it's because I've just begun meds in the last weeks. And just like IrisBloom says, my T said you have to give all the meds time, and then sometimes you have to try a different one. Think Goldilocks and the three bears, you have to find the one that is just right, because we are all different, and so there is no magic pill for everyone.

Best wishes.
Thanks for this!

You need to tell Dr that it's not working. Another med might work better.

Yeah i'm going to have a doctors appointment, this is my second try of meds though so hopefully will find the right one soon. Thanks, if you've got any suggestions for how i could cope without help of medication that would be greatly appreciated

My quack saw me monthly for a while, three monthly thereafter - idea was to check pills/dosage (and make sure I was not of my head or about to throw myself under a bus). Have you been able to tell your doc how its been going at intervals for the last five months?
