It is very tiring waking up with a different personality every day.

Last week I wanted to kill myself and was taken to hospital. The day after I was a different person and so calm.

The problem is that it becomes very overwhelming.

Yesterday I didn't think I could succeed at anything and didn't think there was any point. Today I feel Amazing.

I seem to have the same problem but I can change personalities several times a day! I agree that it is extremely tiring...
Thanks for this!

Hi Iditp20. Aren't you perhaps bipolar maybe?

I have been diagnosed as BDP but don't think it's accurate, personally always though I am bipolar

Yeah, I would say the best thing is to try a different opinion, a different mental health professional. I once did something as simple as switch therapists, and the new therapist immediately saw traces of autism in me for example, which the other person missed. OK, I was a hard case I guess, because I did function quite normally, but that's all it took. You just need someone to explore what you think might be your issues initially. You can then go from there to get a clearer picture of what's going on.

I am changing next week or the week after, it's just in the transition period at the minute.
I am seeing my current CPN tomorrow and to be honest he is useless and has done nothing for me at all. They don't really know how to deal with me, which I will mention tomorrow if I'm not completely down hill by the morning.

I've always thought I'm rapid cycling rather than BPD

I feel this way too but it's because of my thoughts. If I think of negative things I will be heavily sad. If I think of uplifting things, I will suddenly be extremely happy. If things are going well, I get calm. My mood is like a chandelier swinging back and forth.
