Hello. I was just diagnosed with slight depression on Friday. Anyone ever hear of this? I usually never feel depressed. I have a problem listening and paying attention to things I have no interest in. I can also become very withdrawn or extremely angry (or both) if something doesn't go the way I think it should or if my "feelings get hurt". I thought I might have ADD, but the doctor said no after testing me. My wife has bipolar disorder. She recommended this site to me, as well as recommending I get diagnosed.

Well, I guess your doctor is trying to give you a reason for how you feel and some hope for change? I don't know how long you have lost interest in things now, but the "blues" can be considered slight depression. I'm glad you aren't ADD... yes, depression causes us to lose focus too. I hope the doctor gave you some things to try to lighten your mental load... so you feel better soon? TC
