Hi Everyone Feeling sad and dejected...

I am feeling sad and dejected right now. Having flashbacks from my childhood and recent traumas. I have been staying inside alot and sleeping too much. My sadness is mixed with fear.

How do I gain the strength to go outside and not feel overwhelmed and paranoid about ppl, life,...etc?

Hello Pilatus.
I am VERY sorry you are feeling this way. Making a list of more positive things to do can help at times when you are feeling less than active and scared. Looking forward to doing somehting helpsto feel less lonely and depressed at times. Calling friends and visiting someone in a different environment helps sometimes as well, Your therapist can help you as well with making a committment to yourself to do things that help you feel less isolated that make you feel less overwhelmed and less frightened. I hope you feel better soon Take care soidhonia

Thank-you everyone! Feeling sad and dejected...

I made it outside today for a walk with my dog to a park...got some sunshine on my face. Cause I sleep too much I had that "dullness" in my head...like my brain is on permant sleep mode (duh). Getting some fresh air and sun made some difference.
