That "medical person" said "you might" not have any "trouble" until ?
And just WHAT was the point in telling me that?
and what makes you think I will still be here then? I do NOT want to be here, you ****wit piece of ****
I now have 3 unspeakable scary medical issues hanging over me with no symptoms.
Thank you so much for multiplying my anxiety by a million, to no point

And thank you other "medical person" for telling me my rash is due to "stress".... You have NO idea how I've had to give up so many things i love ... No pets, no . And you think it's just due to "stress" ? **** !!

(horrible paws)

Hi Fuzzy, I know it must have felt like a real kick when you were already down......and the not knowing when/if/how.................but at least you're going to know some of the symptoms you need to be alert to if they start appearing, and can go get proper medical attention a lot quicker.
And I don't know if it's applicable to your medical issues but with some alternative therapies can help alongside medical treatment.........so when/if they come along you might be better prepared and be able to ease them a little????
And you may have time as well to check out more people's stories who have those issues, even "put your mind to rest" a little, for if they come up............sometimes things can be a little less scary than they first appear...........???
And you'll still have us to support you when/if those issues appear!!! We're not so bad on the support front, you know

And the other medical person.............where do you find these professionals from???!!!!
If there's a next time, maybe tell them what you've told us (if you didn't anyway!!) and let them know if it's that "simple" then what are they going to do to help (!!!)..............or something like that???

it's so ironic with that frreakin rash

When it was bad and ugly looking when I was "20 something" I was looked at by "medical people" as if I was a monster

"you'll have to get rid of that dog " one said

Then when it finally appeared to have cleared up I was told I was "blowing it up out of proportion" with my concerns regarding passing it on to any child I might have

And now that rash is back, worse than ever

that

Fuzzy...I'm sorry I missed the point...and sorry my humor was poorly timed. I meant well. I'll shut up now.

I hope you find the information you need.

Hi Fuzzy, it must feel so frustrating and invalidating to have faced all of that nevermind the giving up your dog and to have suffered with something that................
But don't you base any of your worth or the importance of your feelings on the way you were treated.
And with the rash being back..........well I hope you can find some help with that.........but despite the way it looks, despite the physical and emotional "discomfort", you are still more than that. SO much more than that!!!!

It doesn't actually look all that bad, at the moment, (as i avoid almost everything to keep it under control ) but it's mostly on my face and my allergies seem worse than ever I've been prescribed steroids and then a different newer cream which also has very scary possible side effects

I hate sharing any of this, it's just a waste of everyone's time and another "medical person" years ago said about me "wasting time" No wonder I was freakin "paranoid" about all my allergies, and then when I was slammed with another scary diagnosis and forgot to be "paranoid" about my allergies something else unspeakable happened.

Hi Fuzzy, you're not wasting anyone's time!!!
If something's bothering you it matters!! In fact good on you for speaking out!!!

Hoping that the medications/cream are those that threaten side effects but like plenty out there don't actually deliver them that well.

True and true:
If it bothers you, it matters.
These matters do not waste our time.

thanks to both of you

I said it doesn't look all that bad but in fact my face does look "quite bad" and I can't wear make up to cover it because of the rash and all my fur (the rash is over most of my face, compared to a "normal person" I look a mess

(but as I so rarely leave my cave that's the least of my worries.....

I remember trying to explain about my rash to that T that was one of the times he said how "unendearing" i was. I'm sure he was right

I once worked on a "cancer and skin" ward.

This was when I was a very young bear and not so paranoid about hospitals.

Just being flooded by more memories of what "he" said

that

I wish I had something profound to say to make you feel better. I pray that you will find a empathetic care provider for your problem. I have also been hurt by insensitive doctors and misdiagnosed about physical symptoms .I am a woman and after all, anxiety is the blame for everything!!! NOTTTT!!!!! The trick is finding someone willing to listen and support. Hoping you will feel better soon. Thinking of you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your bad experiences with medical doctors.
I usually just don't go back if they don't believe me or take me seriously. I find someone that does take me seriously, and believes me.
You are not wasting anybody's time!!!

I'm sure you've tried elimination diets. And I hate to be annoying and suggest this but...
Did you try very careful long term elimination diet for EVERYTHING?
I found that milk was mysteriously causing all of my skin problems (rash, eczema, and acne) but not lactose like everybody else, mostly whey protein and a little issue with casein proteins - unfortunately it's often last on the ingredient list, or hidden (sometimes even called "natural flavoring"). There's also a blood test for allergies, but that one is fairly expensive. (Maybe you've tried that already?)

I still have obvious/unobscurable facial scarring from acne that only persisted because my doctor did not believe diet/lifestyle could be causing my symptoms (because of their confined locales) and instead tried to medicate the problem away with steroid creams, antibiotics, etc. Nothing worked. I went to a new doctor, who had me do the allergy blood test, and we found an issue with milk proteins. When I cut out all the milk in my diet, all my skin problems went away within a few months.

I hope you find a solution soon. I hope you find a doctor that believes you and tries as hard as they can to think of every reason for the problem, instead of trying to simply suppress symptoms with creams and pills. You deserve better!
