I have no idea if this thread is in the right place, but someone very close to me said this to me about 10 minutes ago. It really rattled me and knocked me out of my good (and productive) mood..

Thanks, Fuzzybear.
While I am now finding a medication that works better for me, it's not a miracle pill!! They don't call it manic depression for nothing! Sent from my LG volt using Tapatalk

At least you are trying to improve, what is better than what she/he usually does, I bet. A hug

What a jerky thing for someone to say. But don't let someone else's insensitivity cause you to fall into distorted thinking. Shake it off and get back to reality. I know it's easy for me to say, but try anyway.

Hi palerefraction, I'd say you want to count yourself REAL fortunate you never did end up dating this "person"!!! I can't imagine you (anyone!) being in a good and productive mood that much if you were!!!
So, hey, try hold onto, and make the most of that mood now, yes?? ![]() If they'd got their way and dated you........... Let's say their "problems" are way bigger than yours, and please try not to let their comments bring you down. They really aren't worth your time/attention. ![]() Alison |

Who said that - anyone important? Thought not, sod 'em then.
Was it an email, text or forum message - people say all sorts of idiocy on-line, wise people take that into account and filter out all the rubbish. |

That was a mean thing for them to say! They must have felt something for you and took what you said personally, though. I would just take it as a compliment. Maybe examine what you said and how it could have offended this person. You could try simply explaining, saying that it's too bad he/she feels tat way, but you meant no harm. Or if the person is known to be judgmental, just leave it at that. I feel ya, though. I would be hurt too.
