Recently I had a med change and so far I haven't had a good experience. I've had a splitting headache for 3 days, with some but little relief. Even the bright screen is making it harder. Anxiety is high, triggers for sui are high.... no not just high, extremely high. I don't know what else to do, I have called my doc that made the med change but haven't gotten a response yet.... any ideas for headache, sui, or anxiety relief??

I've read that some people have allot of difficulty coming off of, or changing med's. I've just come off of 120 mg. per day of Cymbalta (taken for over 2 years) in 2 weeks. I've been a bit more edgy & tired... but not seriously so. So I guess everyone is different & I'm one of the lucky ones. (Or there's something coming of which I am so far unaware. )

It's really unfortunate that your doctor has not gotten back to you on this. I would be angry if this happened to me. If what you're experiencing becomes extreme, you can of course go to the emergency room at a local hospital... especially if you begin to feel unsafe. Beyond that I think it's a matter of being gentle with yourself. Get as much sleep as you need, to the extent you can. Take warm baths or showers. Perhaps try to go for some walks if the weather is such that you can. Avoid spending too much time on the computer or watching TV. Eat well & regularly. Continue to try to reach your doctor, & just realize that you're going through a med change & these things take time to get adjusted to. My best wishes to you...

Your symptoms more than justify making a nuisance of yourself with your doctor.

Dr finally got back to me. And gave me some tips to hopefully get rid of a migraine. I just hope they work. As for the advice for the sui ideation, he suggested to go into the ER. Of course said that it's really not that bad and that I've made arrangements to see t tomorrow.
All I've done so far today is just keep movies playing sleep as much as I can and keep the lights off. But feeling crappy doesn't help the mood issues. I did try a bath and it helped for a little bit. I just wish that triggers weren't so high. I just feel like crying
