I'm getting two visitors in 25 minutes.. I like them well enough, haven't seen them for six months and they want to check in with me to see how I'm doing.
I REALLY don't feel up to being social. I wish I had told them not to come when they asked if they could visit. But on the other hand, I would've felt guilty had I done that, and I try not to do things that make me feel guilty because I don't like feeling guilty even if it's just about all I'm feeling nowadays. Wish me luck? |

Good luck with your visit. I hope you feel better and enjoy their company.

Good luck Breadfish. Hope it is at least somewhat enjoyable. I know, for me, that socializing is a real effort when I feel depressed.

Thanks, all of you. It went okay. The people who came are really nice and understanding, and my parents (I'm a teen) were there also, as well as my sister for part of the visit. So I didn't have to keep the conversation going by myself. (I barely said anything at all during the last hour or so)
Thanks again. ![]() |
