I have depression. I have motivation problem. I procrastinate.
There's things I want to do, but I don't know why I procrastinate and procrastinate. What should i do ? How can I have discipline ? I seems to have none. |

With depression, motivation is hard to find. When I'm most depressed I can't seem to make myself do the things that I really want to do. It's one of the symptoms of depression. I make a to do list and try to accomplish at least one thing on it a day. That leaves me feeling like I've done something but isn't so overwhelming as trying to do many things. Some days I fail, so I just start anew the next day.

i find that as you get better, the motivation comes back. you have to be patient with yourself.

My T and pdoc are constantly telling me that this is a difficult and long journey to get better and that we have to take things one day at a time. I have to learn and tell myself that constantly and I hope you can do the same because I know looking at things in a bigger perspective becomes really overwhelming and stressful which makes us more depressed. |
