A small update on how I've been doing. So I've recently started Trazodone and Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin has given me energy to do certain things that I wouldn't do anymore like walking my dogs. I also noticed a small improvement in being able to cope with things and not getting triggered. I haven't self harmed for a week either. The only thing I might be worried about is I've been eating around one meal for the past week. Having a decreased appetite is good for me but I guess it's not healthy to be eating like this. My pdoc gave me an option for Lexapro to compliment the Wellbutrin. I'm still thinking about it so I guess I'll go over it with my pdoc at my next appointment.

Hello, Lelouch (awesome username, by the way, I've heard great things about Code Geass). I'm glad to hear you're doing better! I also was put on Wellbutrin but I haven't started it yet and I've read up on it. It seems to be a good medicine. I'm really glad that it's giving you the energy and motivation to do things. I wish you the best of luck. =)
Thanks for this!

Good for you, I know some people take a bit of time to find the right med. I am taking effexor, but I don't even know if it's working or not.....I feel terrible if I didn't take them.

p.s. wish i can affort a pet (e.g. dog / cat) too, it's very therapeutic
Thanks for this!

Yea I used to feel so guilty about not walking my dog anymore or taking her anywhere at all because she does mean a lot to me. I probably have a closer bond with her than any of my family members. I'm always just so depressed and just didn't have the energy or motivation to do anything.

Thanks everyone. It's only a very small step to getting better but I guess I have to take it one day and one step at a time. I still need to find a way to cope with my suicidal thoughts and tendencies whenever I have them.

Wellbutrin makes lots of people not want to eat much. I had that problem with it, too. Maybe you can find something small, like a piece of fruit or some yogurt or a smoothie, or whatever sounds not-disgusting to you to eat at the mealtimes when you're not eating anything right now.

I just wanted to really thank everyone again and really appreciate everyone on this forum. This has really become a main support system for me and was the only one I had until I started seeing my T and pdoc. There were so many times when I was triggered or very emotionally unstable and being able to post here literally helped me so much and probably prevented me from going through with some suicide attempts before.
