The relaxing is the problem. And I have looked into a different job that does use the degree. But at this moment I just have a job that does not use a degree which is where my mind is been on the last little bit.

Normal people? Hmmm..paint their nails, read magazines, walk the malls, yabber on cell phones, post on FB, drive a few blocks and park--- drive a few more and park. Complain about parking, complain about FB, take zillions of selfies complain about selfies, buy a ton of groceries and throw half away 2 weeks later, go out to eat post a pic of food on FB, complain about service, ...........and on and on.
This is what TV tells me normal people do.

Don't worry about normal people, they don't have the right answers either.

First off, sorry to hear you are feeling this way. These feelings can be quite burdensome and viewing yourself as abnormal can only serve to isolate you.
Take comfort in knowing normal is often an illusion. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and our own struggles. Our problems are relative. When I'm not in school (going for Occupational Therapy), I typically browse the Internet to acquire as much knowledge as I can (feeds my ego to feel like I know a lot), I play video games. When I'm single I'll mingle in real life and online with girls. I've studied psychology since I was 13 so sometimes I'll read the DSM and memorize it. Aside from that I watch the flash, better call Saul, etc. |

I guess the better question is what do you all do during the day? I've been searching for what to do since graduating and still haven't found a hobby that doesn't cause pain... tendinitis in my wrist... from overuse. All my normal things I can't do because of pain, and I'm just getting board and going back to old habits, and it's not helping. so the better question is what do you all do during the day?? I'm just getting board and tv is the only coping skill that I have when I feel like I can't do things because of pain. (sorry for the vent but I had to get it out)
