I've hit rock bottom again and started smoking again after 2.5 years.
Its sad because I've started smoking a pack a day almost, and I never really was a smoker to begin with. I guess my stress and anxiety levels hit an all time high, seeing as nothing ever goes my way in life. My depression is at the point where I don't even care that I'm slowly killing my self, sometimes I won't even realize I just chain smoked like half a pack. I guess this my form of self harm. T-T |

Hi, have you ever thought of using an e-cig to quit? I started in March and ended a 41 year chain smoking habit. Good luck.

I've never smoked cigarettes but I've gotten into the habit of having a cigar and I can understand the small rush you get after having one. I think it comes down to "out of sight out of mind" where you have to make it difficult for yourself and not a crutch. But allow yourself the indulgence because it's better than other things I could name!
I know classical music calms me down a lot and I'll have a fat free dose of ice cream if I'm really up the creek. Much love! ![]()

Might I suggest (Not an e-cigarette) but a nice Vape mod box with a nice dual coil tank. I use a tobacco flavor with 18mg nicotine. Nice thick Vape with a big nicotine punch. Heck of a lot less toxic than tobacco and you save money too. Stay away from those cheap rechargeable units. They don't hit thick enough.

I can totally relate to this post.
I'm a smoker myself. In all honesty, I don't have any intention of stopping any time soon. But having said this, thought I'd put this article here, if you ever wish to revisit this post at some stage and have a look, feel free (I sometimes go back to some of my posts every now and again) Preparing to Quit Smoking | Psych Central |
