I'm always thinking about anything, something about the past, future, criticize and analyze things all the time, and ruminations.
But when I want to put all this mess in words, I just can't do it. I don't know how to put my thoughts in words.

I'm better at putting my thoughts into words by writing than by speaking. Do you find that there's any difference for you?

Another thing I do if something is unclear is kind of keep it at the back of my mind and let it "percolate" and I often find that it becomes clearer and I'm better able to explain it.

I have the same problem. Try writing it out or thinking hard before the words come out of your mouth

Yes, I think writting is easier for me because I have a lot of anxiety and speaking becomes very difficult and unclear.

I think I know someone who has the same problem. There might be some sort of suppression why she can't speak her mind. I used to think she must simply be having an issue with her communication skills, but I notice as time goes by that she has some thoughts she wants to talk about but don't want to with me. She once said she'll tell me about this concern of hers one day but now isn't the right time. It's a bit disturbing and hey, this thread is under "depression".

Edit: I'll take your advice about writing. She does write well. Thanks, guys.

Maybe if you write your thoughts, then read them aloud you could maybe begin to talk like that without writing, just a thought. I too write much better than I speak in words, I think I am speaking clearly then realize someone took it the wrong way or misunderstood. I hope it gets better for you
