i feel like I am trying to get better. I keep questioning my memory when I do not forget the important things like taking my meds, paying my bills but I forget what somebody may say 5 minutes from now. I keep second guessing myself when it comes to going to work or somewhere, I find myself trying to remember what I saw going to work or just driving to work or what did I watch on Tv last night. Why is is your memory is ok on some things but others it's not? Sometimes the wrong words come out or I forget the name of something or someone . My anxiety has gotten better. I am not sure why cognition problems remain when it seems like you are getting better. I am so drowsy in the morning as if I never slept at all. I feel like I am losing myself sometimes.

Could be a side effect of the meds.
Also could be that you've trained yourself to do that. If what you're going through is not good, it's a coping mechanism to forget it as soon as possible so it doesn't linger and bother you.

The only Meds I take is 10mg of Lexapro, which I have been on for about 10 years, I am not sure anymore

Have you told your doctor what's going on? Could be time for a change.
