so sorry you're feeling helpless and (possibly) finding it hard to share. I would really urge you to share if you can, or private message someone. The community liaison team volunteer because they care and you can message them.
I'm happy to 'listen' too. you deserve it.

Thanks everyone. I'm just. Tired. I feel like I'm being spied on. Sleep medications aren't working. Even the OTC ones. None of the meds I've tried have been working for whatever MI it is I have. Been trying stuff for three years now which I know is a drop in the bucket from what some people have been doing this for. My nurse finally said the other day that really I need talk therapy. I did that for two years though and it did nothing for me at all. I dunno. Whatever. Been dealing with this for 20 years it's probably just too late for me.

Adespota I feel for you I struggle with hope too. Talk therapy comes in different forms and different approaches I have found some styles better than others. Maybe if you try a different school of therapist they can help. I prefer a more practical and directive approach rather than just talking psychotherapy type approach. Also if there is an issue you've been reluctant to address that may be the one to go for and a more directive therapist can help when courage fails. I sincerely hope you find a way forward. be kind to yourself

(((((Adespota))))) It is hard to hold on to hope sometimes when we struggle with mental illness, but there is hope out there. Keep trying because the next thing you try might be the one that works.
