I actually took a big step yesterday and decided after talking to my mom that we are gonna dedicate these next day's all to getting me a new therapist. And I've really started opening up to her, like I even opened up to her about smoking pot, and that's really hard to do because it makes you feel like they will think of you differently, but she reassured me that she still loves me and everything, so that's a relief. And I explained how it has helped when I'm feeling really really depressed and I feel like she's disappointed that I chose it, but she's understanding of why I chose too. But she made it sound like too that if I wasn't 16(I think I have to be 18 for medical marijuana) that she would allow me to use it for medical reasons like my deep depression, suicidal thoughts, and social anxiety. But she was even thinking about it already before I told her I smoked for herself because she has really bad arthitis and back and knee problems and my uncle uses it for it, so she's thinking about it for herself, so she can see my situation better too. But it's relieving and very comforting to know I can talk to her about anything. And also to be able to Open up to super helpful and sweet people on here. Thank you all!Things seem better with my mom and IThings seem better with my mom and IThings seem better with my mom and I

That's great! I'm glad you were able to confide in your mother. I hope you meet nothing but an upward curve from here.

hi JD

That you can open up to your mom like that and she is so supportive is really great! Perhaps getting really good medication would help also. I hope and pray the new therapist will work really well for you. Have a really great day. God bless and best wishes from your friend Francis

Oh and also to add onto this, does anyone have any experience or thoughts on how medical Marijuana can help with depression and anxiety? I would just like to know if there's anyone that could explain if it's helped them or anything like that.
