why is it always that my nightmares always come back to the same thing, i try watching tv to take my mind away from what my nightmares are about but nearly every night i end up having another one, they arnt the same but always have the same female in them

they say dreams are a way of healing. idk. i have terrible nightmares, always about my abuser, makes me feel bad for the rest of the day - but maybe that's my brain getting rid of some of the bad.

I have nightmares that are always basically the same thing.
Its very weird and sometimes I have a really hard time shaking them.I notice though ,the worse my depression/anxiety is the more frequent and intense they are.
I dont really get it.....hope it helped a bit anyhow.

They can be frightening and wear you thin pretty quickly. Do you have anyt meds for sleeping before your worn to the thickness of gold leaf...
