Hello,
I haven't posted in this part of the forums in a long time, but I'm dealing with something now I need help with. Lately I have been getting extremely depressed every evening, I think it is because I run out of thing to do and am not motivated enough to do anything. I get suicidal thoughts on and off and am having urges to
Possible trigger:
I don't want my medication to be adjusted as I don't think it's the problem, I think it's just a phase I have to deal with and get through but I don't know how

hey blue bird. i used to get depressed every evening like clockwork. i would just take my meds and go to bed but that would put me waking up at 3-4 am every day. do you think maybe it could be due to the sky getting darker earlier?

yeah man I think this happens to a lot of people
I don't think it has to do with the sky, or the time or anything like that I think it has to do with the fact that during the day, we have so much to do and we have goals to get done and stuff like that. but once you get home and have nothing to do it gives you a ton of time to think and that's when negative thoughts come around the best thing to do is to keep busy when you get home in the evenings Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks junk, I haven't thought of that. Maybe that's part of it. I just took a hot shower to try and relax, I get kind of agitated around this time also

Mine is the opposite! I wake up depressed every day, before I even open my eyes, and sadly it's often only by the time the day is almost over that the fog has started to clear.
I find I still have to actively manage my day around the schedule of my energy though. During the day, I try to prevent myself from tending to tasks that are enjoyable but which require less energy, and put them off till later so that I'll have something to do when I start to fade. You might consider coming up with a specific list to refer to, of those things that would best engage you at those times of day that you tend to feel most vulnerable... for instance I always save reading for the evening, because it energizes my mind to read about topics I'm interested in, but requires the least physical energy. A late shower is nice too though. I just had one a little while ago myself. ![]()
