I'll try to make a long story short. I've been doing pretty well for the past year. As long as I am not stressed I am good. Well, right now some heavy duty stresses are going on. Not bad things, but big changes and family issues. I am having severe mood swings, worse than I've ever had. I have called the crisis line and am going to Doc Monday.
I am ok when I have an upswing. I feel hopeful and think all will be ok. Down swing is just the opposite. Hopeless and see no reason to go on. ![]() I am alone, but I feel safe. I have the crisis line and I can call 911 if I feel like...you know... Thank you for listening. I appreciate all of you here for brightening my days. I hope to get back to my jolly self any time now. ![]()

Hi IrisBloom, your title of your thread 'one step forward, 2 steps back' reminds me of myself. I really hate my depressive moods, I turn into a horrible person but I can't help it. The minute something stresses me, I know it's going to be like walking into a brick wall.
I've never used our crisis line over here as there's been a lot of criticism about the staff answering the calls. Use this forum to talk out your stresses and fears, there's alwasys good advice here. I hope you feel better soon. |

Still having mood swings but they don't seem as severe. In reality I know things will be ok, but still stressed out about it.
