I do take non benzo for anxiety that is RX. And I take klonapin as needed as well. But for anxiety and depression, the rest is alternative. There are so many things out there. Depending on what the person needs. I think its great that you will be exploring this.

I hope you get some good relief. You deserve that. Everyone does. Sometimes the most awesome people are the ones with the greatest challenges. Honestly though half the time I reach out, I get "sucker punched". Makes it so I do not reach out.
I understand what you mean about reaching out - and I think that's why a lot of people eventually give up on doing so. I hope you won't give up on it but will continue searching for someone and something that is right for you. There are some natural remedies that do not need to be ingested, perhaps you can look into some of those. I have been using essential oils - those can be inhaled, used topically or ingested depending on the need and the oil - generally there are more than one oil (thus generally more than one method typically as well too) for each need; but there is also things such as accupuncture (which i want to try now), massage, accupressure, and different reiki as well as the use of gemstones - those are a few that i can think of off the top of my head that don't require ingestion and may be worth looking into. I do hope you find something you are comfortable with and that works. I am probably going to move both so I havd more options to better care (the clinic I will try is my only option) and so I can be around people who I feel more comfortable with but at the moment I am having to pay off a couple of loans before I can do so. Maybe relocating would be an option for you as well?

Thanks. Impressive list. You know your stuff ! I cannot do essential oils because I am doing homeopathics. The scent of essential oils can antidote a remedy.

Relocating sounds awesome. I do hope that can happen for you. I know my cousin gets a lot of low cost or free care because she lives near a naturopathic college in Portland Oregon. I have been working with alternative healing methods etc for a couple of decades. But I usually need someone to tell me what is right for me. Not great at figuring it out for myself.

The most recent thing I was working with was sound vibration. I just spent my emergency savings on a powerful 21 day ( phone, mp3s and online community forum) healing intensive. Backfired in my face. That's why I ended up here. Sometimes these 21 day healiing intensives can be very powerful. They can bring up a huge amount of stuff. Support was not a viable option.

I do hope that you are led to exactly what is right for you. Sounds like that will happen. If you ever want a list of some healing teleconferences that are free, just let me know. They are all interview format. But some of the people are amazing. And yes, there often is healing offered for all who call in, or stream it through the internet. Also free "gazings" sometimes

What kind of conferences are these? I have never heard of them and you have my curiosity up . Thank you for the well wishes. What kind of homeopathy are you doing if you don't mind me asking? I hope you are able to find something that works well for you *hugs*

They are about alternative healing of one sort or another. People sign up for the series There are many of these series started by different people who have no commonality other than that they are interested in doing this. Signing up and listening is always free.

So they interview people. Some might be proficient in EFT ( although that seems to be less of a "thing" these days.) One woman does energy medicine. She has been teaching for decades. Another works with vibrational frequencies. Its really all about healing. With metaphysical parameters. The list of people who do these interview things is huge. Lots of variety. But they have no affiliation other than all having an expertise in some sort of healing modality.

Here is the trade off ( which I am more than wiling to do). These people who are interviewed are asked to come up with a discounted offer of their work for people to purchase, if they want to buy it. So the person calling in does have to sit through a 10 minute sales pitch, or hang up when that starts. BUT it is so worth it for all this free listening. And often there is some sort of healing offered within the interview/call.

I have found out about a lot of very awesome people and modalities through these teleconferences. It used to be just 2 people who had these series. Now there are many.

There is one guy people seem to like. A healer kind of person. He does not do the teleconference interviews anymore. But he has tons of youtube presentations of his work that are totally free. People like him a lot.

So there is all this stuff out there for free. And there is at least 48 hour replay made available of each interview for free. Some people choose to buy the series of interviews. I do not. I choose to just listen to the replay within the 48 ( sometimes more) free replay time.
Hope that explains it ( a bit). Its a win win. These healers etc and presenters get to make a bit of money with their paying listeners. Most listeners do not bother to buy anything. Which is fine with everyone involved. No one even asks for your last name when you sign up

yes. TBH, I rarely listen to any of them. I just get the emails telling me who is being interviewed and what time. I often do not have the energy for it
Thanks for this!

To paraphrase Jon Kabat-Zinn... no matter where you go... there you are...

Actually - no, that's just what I was saying. No mattwer where you go there are often times you are not allowed to be who you are - because you have to pretend you feel something different than you do in order to "obey the rules" or "be acceptable to others" or etc

As for the offline people around you, what is putting them off or causing their lack of understanding? Can you take people to your Psychiatrist appointments? Are there support groups for support people they can attend? Can you sit down with them and have a discussion about expectations - both ways - and what support looks like. Is there room for compromize - on both sides? Is there a support group you can attend?
I think you nailed it . There are many ways to get anything out if you really want to . I'm sure you can ask or invite others to a private chat or offline .Hell I stopped my wife from going into my psych office because I didn't want to stress her by saying things to him that she already knew but it was more comfortable to say in private . I worked on getting it out my way . I had a problem but didn't want to stress her more ,she stands by me and I value her . no offence taken or given

i love that idea,

like your own private member journal, (well not really a journal,), but that kind of thing.. you go their, post to the thread and have a place where you can be yourself

i've had times where i've posted messages on here and i've thought. well, i don't really want people to see me like that- but you know, that's how i'm feeling.
