I feel like a trash, I didn't ask to be born. I always mess up and make the wrong choice. I'm not good at life. I'm not a bad person. Just an idiot trapped in a nice, confused, person.

Hello AngelMoon: Well... we all mess up & make the wrong choices. And we all feel like idiots sometimes. I know I do... more often than I care to think about. You may feel like trash. But if you're not a bad person & you're nice, then it seems to me you're ahead of the game, as they say! That is a great platform to build on!

I know the feeling, except without the certainty that I'm actually a nice, confused person (I've wondered if I'm evil, even). But those feelings of worthlessness, of hopelessness, I know them all too well. I hope you find your peace. |

I too know those feelings very well. At times, I really wished I wasn't born because I make the wrong choices constantly especially the big, life-altering ones. I feel like such a waste because my brothers, for the most part, have their lives together and have succeeded at their life choices but not me. When we get together, like for holidays, they all talk about one success or another and I just kind of slip away so I don't have to talk about myself.
BUT, the point is, everyone messes up at one time or another. EVERYONE. Your most important choice is whether you concentrate on the failures or the successes. What did Edison say? Something like, "I didn't fail five hundred times at inventing the lightbulb. I succeeded at finding five hundred ways that didn't work." You can see there are a lot of people on this website. You can either say there are a lot of messed up idiots on this site that aren't good at life or you can say there are a lot of nice but confused people who just need some help dealing with life. |

I know what you mean! If I wrote a resume, of sorts, about my short comings and idiot mistakes (said jokingly) it would be a whole lot longer than a one pager! I try to look on the opposite side, of humor, 'cause we all screw up-it's human nature!

I think you started very well. You said: " I did not ask to be born". This is the key.
You do not have to be successful. You do not have to be a winner. You do not have to do anything. We all have been thrown into existence and perhaps living does not make any sense. Perhaps our planet will collide and all the achievements, all the dollars, all the efforts will go to Hell. We all do what we can. Some people get a better suit of conditions, for others life is a challenge. You do what you can. You are unique and your response is unique, too. This is your life, not theirs. You did not ask to be born
