havent seen my OT since september, i had to cancel a apointment.
so since september i have been phoning her once or twice a week, and i keep leaving the same message " can you get her to ring me ?".
as yet i havent heard from her.
i feel like they (mental health team) are waiting for me to ring now.
let me run you through my last phone call....
me : " hello can talk to ******* please,"
mht : " yes, can i take your name please"
me : trm (name changed to protect me )
mht : "oh no, she isnt in the office at the moment"
me : " ok can i leave my mobile number please"
left mobile number.......

i feel my OT is screening my calls........
and i am now getting ANGRY.....

((((((((((( trm ))))))))))))

I haven't had an experience like this, but I can quite imagine what may be going on here Maybe if you step back and don't call her for a few weeks and then call again and explain in as concise a description as you can (cold facts so they see you as "rational" ) ... Maybe she will then get back to you. Or write or email - one detailed but concise email. Hope this helps You deserve good support

I'm not completely sure what "OT" means. Occupational therapist?

Do you want to see her again? You might try making an appointment and then ask for her to call you. It has been my experience that health care professionals put the people that are active patients at the top of their list.

What is an OT?

I try to make it clear to my psychiatrist or therapist's assistant that it is an emergency and need a call back the same day.
Thanks for this!

It's the end of Nov and she hasn't returned any of ur calls it may be time to move on and find another therapist IMO.

Hmmm, I don't know why she should be returning your calls. I suppose you can ask if you should continue as a client or begin searching elsewhere, and for her to "please advise" in your next message. At least u might get a yes or no. Though, if someone doesn't want to provide treatment when I'm paying for it, I'd go elsewhere.
Thanks for this!
