I have to keep reminding myself that I have inner strength to deal with life. I may not feel it, but it is there. Just as the sun is still there even when it is cloudy. It is important to have faith in this strength when I feel utterly defeated by my situation. We all have inner strength, even in the depths of depression and when things seem hopeless.

I agree. There are days when I don't know how I'm going to face the world, but I do it somehow. I try and hold on to the hope that I have that strength even though it's hard to find it

Possibly Related: The innate urge to survive is powerful and not easily overcome, even among the depressed.
