I'm getting bad again. I gave into the urges and cut after not cutting since July. I have no motivation or energy for anything. My brain can't seem to shut off. It just goes on and on about dark things. I feel so overwhelmed. I'm anxious all the time. I feel hopeless. I don't know what to do...

Do you have a therapist or pdoc? Are you on any medication. Do you have a supportive network?

I've been in that dark place. I've self harmed and attemted suicide. I persistently reached out for help, and it was difficult , no one wanted to listen at first and I had to keep reaching out . finally I got support and a diagnoses of BPD . I'm on medication now and have a pdoc and a support worker and I'm starting a therapy called dbt this month . my family are supportive now too. I got out of that dark place and you can too. Talk to everyone you can who might help you, doctors, mental health , help lines , family , dont give up .

Sometimes it takes a very long time to recover I've been in that dark place too You're stronger than maybe you think, you can get out of that dark place, with good help and support (sorry I feel like deleting this, we do care here )

OK your in treatment that's good. What are they doing to help you ? I find hospitiluzation doesn't help much either. Are you on medication ? Have you considered changing medication or increasing the dose?
What can you do to help yourself relax? Do you have a therapist you can talk to ?

I'm trying to keep my racing thoughts under control too.

I hope things look up for you soon...I know how you feel. Sending you well-wishes.

Yeah I'm on medication. They've changed it so many times. I don't know what to do about it. I just moved so yesterday I met my therapist for the first time.
